We are excited about the continued growth on our Image Processing team and are looking for candidates who are passionate about what they do. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in groundbreaking work aimed at conquering cardiovascular disease. Our Image Processing Engineers develop and test tissue characterization algorithms from CT, CTA, Spectral CT and MRI modality images. In addition, they will analyze data and develop methods using machine learning for feature extraction and classification. The Principal Image Processing Engineer will join the team with prior experience that will contribute to a multidisciplinary team including expertise in systems biology, software and data science. Elucid is a leader in Quantitative Imaging, Tissue Characterization and Atherosclerotic Plaque Analysis.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Required minimum of 5 - 7 years of related work experience
  • Strong experience in CT/CTA imaging processing in various areas including image segmentation and registration.
  • Strong Experience in C/C++ is required, some experience in Python and/or Matlab is nice to have
  • Experience in deploying and operating ML/AI models in production in cloud and on-prem environments
  • Experience with a variety of ML and AI techniques (multivariate/logistic regression models, cluster analysis, neural networks, deep learning, graph neural networks, etc.)
  • Experience of deep learning R&D in industry setting, preferred.
  • Applicants should be well organized and have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • MS in electrical engineering or related field is required, PhD is preferred.

Boston-area employees are strongly encouraged to be in-person on Mondays and Wednesdays, with the option to come in as many days as they’d like.
